Fountain of Mirrors – Metalmorphosis, by David Cerny
It is a fountain made by Czech sculptor David Cerny. It is made with mirrors and stainless steel. THE Metalmorphosis weighs 14 tons and rotates 360 degrees. And you can see it online.

This giant sculpture is really impressive. Called “The Bathers” 🇧🇷“Die Badende” in German), or “Os Bahistas” in Portuguese. It was developed by Oliver Voss and presented to the public on August 13, 2011.

The purpose of this work, which is over 3 meters high, is to provoke reflections on the need to take care of the seas and oceans. There are only 4 similar sculptures in the world: one is under water and the other 3 are part of private collections.

You may have heard of Easter Island. There are more than a thousand ancient sculptures, one of which is underwater! The sculpture was built around 1400-1650 AD

Crossing the Rubicon, by Jason Taylor
This British sculptor and defender of nature created an installation with 35 sculptures that walk towards a tall, long wall positioned between two realities, with an entrance to the Atlantic Ocean right in the middle. It means that nature does not recognize any properties or limits, reminding us of the need to protect the Planet and nature before it’s too late. Jason Taylor’s work is even more impressive in real life than in photos.

The impressive work consists of 200 human figures underwater. Once again, Taylor addresses the issue of ocean care. The pieces are made of pH-neutral cement, forming an artificial reef that would benefit the marine life on the island.

The work is formed by a kind of playground, where businessmen play on the swing and seesaw. The reference to oil pumps highlights the contrast between the harsh world of business and the world of nature.

the circular nest, created from environmentally harmless concrete, it was made with the purpose of illustrating the cycle of life and being a place where corals can thrive. The artist hopes his work will remind the public of the fragility of the underwater world.

Jason Taylor also created 500 sculptures for the world’s first underwater sculpture park: MUSA (Museum Underwater Art). The pieces were produced from real people, and today they rest at the bottom of the sea. The same work shows us that hope can be cultivated by attentive and kind hands.
