The story of Anitta’s life proves that it is possible to fulfill her dreams, not by luck, but with a lot of work and effort.

If there’s anyone in current Brazilian music that is becoming more and more a phenomenon, it’s Anitta. The artist from Rio de Janeiro owes her success to her own competence in managing her career. And it is still difficult for the Brazilian public to understand the dimension that her trajectory is gaining internationally. The success that for many seemed meteoric proved to be very solid thanks to the good lessons in entrepreneurship adopted by her.

And, precisely for that reason, the awesome.club gathered some information and curiosities about the history of this diva, so you can understand that it is possible to conquer “high” places. Check it out!

Born in 1993, the artist spent her childhood in Honório Gurgel (a suburb of Rio de Janeiro). Her registered name is Larissa de Macedo Machado and her first songs were in the Santa Luzia church, in the community where she lived.

His humble family went through many financial difficulties. But Anitta, always a hard worker, finished a technical course in administration at the age of 16, and this guaranteed her an internship at the mining company Vale do Rio Doce.

His internship guaranteed him an income of approx. 600 reais, in addition to the food card and the transport voucher. And even at that moment she learned to use every penny to support herself.

His career within funk began to take place after an agent from one of the biggest producers of the genre in Brazil at the time, Furacão 2000, saw his video. Delighted with the talent she showed, he decided to show the video to Priscila Nocetti, leader of the funk production company.

And this was the video that made his career take the second step. Watch below ⬇️

Like so many young people of her generation, she loved to show off on the internet — in tools like the photo app Instagram, for example. In addition to sharing those international “performances” we talked about above.

A fan of the TV Globo series “Presença de Anita”, the singer took advantage of the nickname and doubled the letter “T” for her stage name. And her agent made a point of removing the acronym “MC” to convey more glamor and charm.

Gradually her career took shape, gaining recognition, but she still lacked proper planning and guidance. At the time, the singer showed a very different look from what the public knows today, but her remarkable voice and loose sway were already her trademark.

After an agreement of 260 thousand reais with Hurricane 2000, she left the production company and started to be managed by Kamilla Fialho. The singer also says that all this made her very distressed because she thought she would not be able to recover all that money to return Kamilla.

Time passed and at a certain level of her career Anitta had already reached a good level of success based on the model implemented by Kamilla. Even so, she chose to leave a position where she did not feel threatened and decided to explore new areas.

This attitude is one of the first fundamental lessons of entrepreneurship that she was able to teach us, as the stagnation that the singer began to observe could harm her.

In the media it is possible to see many cases of artists who are very successful for a short time and, in the same way, disappear. This phenomenon, among other factors, is due to not being able to reinvent themselves. Anitta knew how to anticipate and decided to get off autopilot. Funk gave way to pop and, later, to reggaeton and electronic music.

2013 was the year that Anitta decided to give new directions to her career, and in August of the following year, she broke up with her manager (Kamilla) for a millionaire sum. The singer decided to take charge of her career when she realized that she could go further.

That was the best choice she could have made. Her career took off and Anitta became the first Brazilian artist on Spotify’s Top 50 Global list. And she remained on the list several times with hits such as: “Bola, Rebola”, “Downtown”, “Vai Malandra”

Gaining prominence in saturated and media markets requires a lot of study to find creative solutions. Anitta literally did her homework and built an internationalization plan. She had the reasoning of an entrepreneur seeking recognition.

The singer became the Brazilian artist who charges the highest fee for advertising campaigns in the country. And all this to show that with a dose of luck and planning it is possible to conquer great careers, right?
