The new fashion for Halloween trees is here to stay, and we’ll tell you how it came about

Everything indicates that, in the coming years, we won’t have to wait until December to admire the picturesque trees covered in decorations and lights, as the Halloween tree has gained special importance. The trend has recently emerged on social media and is a curious and fun way to celebrate the holiday with family and friends throughout the month of October.

O incredible.club will tell you how this tradition began and share with you some tips to make the most of your creativity when decorating your own tree.

What is a Halloween Tree

The October 31 celebrations were extended. Thanks to the fact that many people love this date and want to celebrate it throughout the month, a new tradition has emerged and is becoming more and more significant: the Halloween tree.

It’s a regular Christmas tree, only instead of being decorated with angels, elves and Santa figures, this one has hanging decorations reminiscent of Halloween, like cauldrons, skulls, ghosts and pumpkins.

Thus was born the new and “terrifying” trend

The idea came from the book The Halloween Tree 🇧🇷The Halloween Tree), which tells a legend about eight children who, on October 31, after asking for sweets, went to look for a lost friend. According to the story, along the way, they found a Halloween tree in which a mummy, a monster and a skeleton were hidden. The author of the book, Ray Bradbury, was a friend of Walt Disney and, together with him, developed several attractions at Disneyland. That’s why, in his honor, a Halloween tree was placed in the park.

How to Decorate a Halloween Tree

You have the option of using a real tree or dusting the artificial tree you have at home. Place it wherever you like (it could be in the living room, to receive guests in a frightening way, or in your bedroom, so that you can enjoy the mystery surrounding the date in peace).

Don’t even think about Christmas green and red, but orange and black. You can combine them with any colors you like! We recommend dark purple, green or silver. Ornaments must have scary characters such as ghosts, spiders, pumpkins, bats, skulls and witches. If you enjoy making crafts, we recommend that you do the decoration yourself.

Instead of a star or an angel, you can use a witch’s hat, a large bat or a skeleton to crown the tree. You can also dare to put orange ribbons around it, to give it a more fun touch.

Don’t forget to add the lights, they are the perfect addition to your spooky creation! But your Halloween tree doesn’t have to be the only decoration: dare to scatter cobwebs, mummies, coffins and ghosts around the house.
