The impressive 3-day military diet

The military diet is a very short-term eating plan to lose more than 4 kg in a very short time. A recent study showed that weight loss ranks first in popularity among people’s New Year’s projects. Why is it so popular?

One of the most striking aspects of the diet is that it only lasts for 3 days. Losing more than 4 kg in such a short time seems impossible. All you need to do is follow the meal plan precisely.

Another aspect that draws attention is that the diet is very easy to follow. You don’t need to count calories or buy expensive supplements. At the base of the diet there are normal foods that we find in any supermarket.

The speed of weight loss is a consequence of the increase in metabolism. By decreasing our calorie intake in a short period of time, we eliminate a lot of fat. But this diet is not one that makes us starve. It is low in calories but provides the energy you need to have a productive day thanks to good fats, carbohydrates and proteins.

Day 1

Breakfast: a cup of some hot beverage (coffee or tea), a piece of toast (preferably wholegrain), two spoons of peanut butter and half a grape fruit🇧🇷 Lunch: a cup of some hot beverage (coffee or tea), a piece of toast and half a cup of tuna. Dinner: About 85g of any meat (cooked or steamed), a cup of green beans, half a banana, a small apple and, if you like, a cup of ice cream (not bad).

Day 2

Breakfast: a piece of toast (preferably wholegrain), a boiled egg and half a banana. Lunch: another boiled egg, 5 crackers, a cup of ricotta. dinner: 2 hot dogs (increasingly interesting) without the bread, half a cup of carrots, a cup of broccoli and half a banana with ice cream (wonderful!).

Day 3

Breakfast: 5 crackers with cheddar cheese and a small apple. Lunch: a toast (preferably wholegrain) and an egg (light lunch). Dinner: a cup of tuna and, again, half a banana with ice cream (thankfully!).

If you want to achieve better results, diet for 3 days and eat normally for the next 4. Repeat the military diet for several weeks until you reach your target weight. Ideally, you follow this routine of 3 days following the diet and 4 days eating normally for a month to see results.

We also recommend getting used to starting the day with a glass of water. Also, drink two glasses of water before each meal, this will make you feel fuller. And don’t forget to keep drinking water on the 4 ‘rest’ days.

Find a friend to diet with you so you can control yourself and motivate yourself.
