Although ‘The Green Witch’ bills itself as a guide to the ‘natural magic of herbs, flowers and essential oils’ I think it covers enough witchcraft basics to make it a generally useful reference book on witchcraft for beginners and that’s why I have added it to my list of best witchcraft books for beginners

Working with the natural world and the elements and the cycles of the moon is something that most witches take for granted and I think this book covers the basics well. Topics covered include:

Green Witch’s Kitchen Recipes

I enjoyed the holistic approach offered by this book emmensly. In the author’s words, “Green witchcraft is not a practice divorced from ordinary life, such as ritual magic, but an inclusive experience of total emergence, where all life is a magical experience.”
