Martha Castrothe woman of Fonsi Nieto, has always enjoyed his vacations in Villaviciosa, where his maternal grandparents Soledad and Miguel were born, in Sietes. But this August is being the most special vacation of her life: it is the first one she spends in Asturias with her first son, Hugo, who is turning ten months old and who wanted to present the Asturians through LA NEW SPAINto which he is faithful every year with a summer stay in the land of his maternal family.
Marta recognizes that she is experiencing the arrival of her son as a wonderful experience. “It has totally changed my life as a mother, but for the better. The holidays are being unbeatable, in the company of my mother and three sisters who help me a lot. Hugo is very good and very easy, although a little restless and doesn't stop, but I manage very well. I have even come from Madrid alone with him in the car”reveals.
The one who has not been able to be in Villaviciosa these days is Fonsi Nieto. “Before we spent a week on the beach together in Ibiza. He couldn't here because right now he is in Austria accompanying the Pramac Ducati Moto GP team where he works as a coach. Fonsi is super happy because his driver, Jorge Martín, has achieved the first victory in the World Championship in Styria. “It has been a huge joy.”
What Marta talks about very proudly is how excited Fonsi is with the arrival of Hugo, the pilot's second. “He is excited and feels very happy, he enjoys it a lot and plays with it a lot. The truth is, it is a great gift that he has given us to life that fills us with happiness.”
If asked who the little one looks like, this mother-born Maliaye says: “He is just like his father, physically like him, and has a happy and friendly character like mine.” Regarding whether they will be encouraged to have more, he confesses: “We would love to have another one. Right now Hugo is very little and we want to enjoy him to the fullest, but if a brother arrives we would not like them to take too long. “It doesn't matter to us whether it's a boy or a girl.”.
Accompanied by her family, Marta Castro visits these days with Hugo the same places that she herself enjoyed since she was a child every summer in Villaviciosa and other Asturian towns such as Covadonga or La Espasa beach, in Colunga. “We were already in Tazones and Sietes on the first day, because my uncles, Pepe and Amalia, had been married for 49 years and we were celebrating. I was also with Hugo in Rodiles, he loves it, although the water is colder than in Ibiza, but he had a great time because he really liked splashing around. He also really likes coming to the playground behind City Hall, sitting on the swings, on the spring swings of the wooden animals, everything is new for him and you can see in his smile how much he enjoys it.”
Of course, Hugo has gone to Covadonga and has been introduced to the Santina. “The Virgin is very significant for our family, since every summer we went and I asked her to have a child. I am a 'super believer', so this year it has been very exciting to be accompanied by my mother Mercedes Rodríguez, to introduce Hugo to the Santina and thank him for her arrival.”concludes Marta Castro.
