1. Queen of the beach

“Comb the roots at the top of the head with a comb, adjust the volume with your fingers so that the look is not dated (no one wants to go back to the wedding cakes of the 60s) and toss the hair to the side”, says Edu. Another possibility to add volume is to use dry shampoo (Dry Shampoo, Keune, R$ 131) in the root. Then, with a little pomade in your hands, start doing the side braid. “The secret for it not to come undone is to twist the first strand to be braided”, teaches the beauty artist. 4. On the biggest wave

To achieve big wave beach hair, apply beach spray (This Is a Sea Salt Spray It’s for Full-Bodied, Beachy Looks, Davines, R$164) along the entire length of dry strands – including at the roots, to gain volume and structure. “If you don’t have a wide modeler nearby, twist two or three fingers to reproduce the wavy effect”, says Edu. 5. High tide

Separate a section from the face to the top of the head and twist into a samurai bun. Secure with a bobby pin, leaving the roots with volume (apply Full Dry Volume Blast, Living Proof, $149, for extra help).
