Student Prayer to Promote Calmness and Learn with Ease

School, technical, college, course, postgraduate, master’s degree… Whatever your moment, it usually comes with challenges and the need for concentration to guarantee learning. A student prayer it can be a way to promote spiritual cleansing to attract tranquility, blessings, protection and assistance. The important thing is to do it with faith, believing in what you can achieve!

What is the patron saint of students?

Saint Joseph of Cupertino (1603 – 1663) is considered the patron saint of students with difficulties. The Italian felt the call to religious life and the priesthood, but he had great difficulty learning and was illiterate. He asked for superior assistance during the tests to become a priest, and he achieved his goal.

“Dear Saint Joseph of Cupertino, purify my heart, transform it and make it similar to yours. Instill in me your fervor, your wisdom and your faith. Show your kindness by helping me and I will strive to imitate your virtues.

“Holy Virgin, You who are the seat of wisdom, help me in my studies. It opens my intelligence so that I can understand and remember the teachings of the teachers.

Maintain my calm during the exam; make me remember the right answer and guide my hands so that I write what I should write.

“Lord Jesus Christ, humbly prostrated at your feet, I ask you to look with affection at the request that I, supplicant, need.

Throughout this time, the Lord has accompanied all the effort and preparation to reach the long-awaited day of the test. For this very important moment in my life, I ask that your infinite wisdom can flood my heart.

Transmit to me your holy and calm friend so that I can observe all the questions on the test and answer them according to the knowledge acquired through the work and grace of the divine Holy Spirit.

Follow me during the evaluation and may the result be favorable to me. I know that you have always promised good things to those who ask with a good heart. Desperate Student’s Prayer

“Sir, I believe it is worth studying! By studying, the gifts you gave me will yield more, and I will be able to serve better. By studying, I am sanctifying myself.

Lord, may study forge great ideals in me! Accept, Lord, my freedom, my memory, my intelligence and my will.

From You, Lord, I received these abilities to study. I put them in your hands. Everything is yours. May everything be done according to Your will!

Lord, may I be free! Help me to be disciplined, internally and externally.

Lord, may I be true! May my words, actions and silences never lead others to think that I am something that I am not. Free me, Lord, from falling into the temptation to copy.

Lord, may I be joyful! Teach me to cultivate a sense of humor and to discover and witness the reasons for true joy.

Give it to me Lord. The happiness of having friends and knowing how to respect them through my conversations and attitudes.
