When I see a shadow, I analyze what’s going on in my life, how I’m feeling, and so on.

The most rational reasons why we see shadows:

1. We are tired or weary. Maybe after a long day at work, a long day on our PC or smartphone, we see shadows in our peripheral view. This is perfectly normal, it just means it’s time to rest and give ourselves a break.
2. we are stressed Stress can be a game with our minds, creating shapes and shadows while we are doing something else. Again, it’s time to take a break, get rid of the stressful situation we’re in, and relax.
3. Organic reasons: In rare cases, these cases can be signs of an illness. In these cases, consult a doctor.

First and foremost, don’t freak out. When we see shadows it is often seen as a negative thing, a diabolical sign, but it may not be the case. You can also see shadows because:

• A spirit guide is all around us
• An angel wants to support you in an emergency
• Someone has a connection to a place after passing away

You may feel like you are no longer alone, which could be a sign of the presence of a good shadow, meaning it most likely is a spirit guide, a spirit of someone close to you who has died, or even an angel.

If you see shadows, it can possibly mean that you can open your intuition better and let your mind work on a higher level. It can mean that you are a sensitive, vibrant individual and are becoming more receptive to energetic presence around you.

I see shadows that I think are good

When you see shadows that you believe to be good, all you have to do is acknowledge the fact that a good being wants you to feel their presence and guidance. You may find an object in a different place, you may see a sign or even numbers appearing repeatedly, and you realize that these things are somehow related to a person or your life.

Many good spirits are hoaxes, when I was 8 we lived in a converted post office. One night I woke up and saw the shadow of a man in the corner of my bedroom.

I screamed but kept my focus on him. My parents stormed into my room and as soon as they turned on the light, the shadow disappeared. My window was locked and there were bars on the windows and to this day that it is a true story I believe he did me no harm now but because I screamed I never saw him again.

This was my first solo contact with a spirit, and years later a family friend who had moved to the same place after us, solely because her husband passed away, told me that the spirit often played tricks on her.

The most common thing he played on her was moving her jewelry from her bedside table to a baking sheet in her oven in the middle of the night, or he put it in the freezer, and every time she woke up and saw her jewelry was missing , she acknowledged him and said, “OK, where did you hide it today?”

She felt he was doing this to lift her spirits and she would engage in conversations with him. He made life more bearable for her and she was grateful for that.

Another example would be when you see the same number over and over again, focus on it, and try to figure out if it means something to you. Is it related to a special occasion of yours or someone you lost? Or maybe you are looking for an answer to a problem you are facing and things keep happening. It’s like you’re almost forced to act in some way. Perhaps the Presence wants to show you the way to achieve a happy outcome for you and your life.

I see shadows that I think are evil

If you see shadows and feel like something is wrong, if this presence drains your energy or you feel anxious all the time, it could be that a dark presence is haunting you.

My best advice on dealing with shadows

Like I said, if you see shadows, don’t freak out.

Instead, try to dedicate at least a few minutes a day to tune into them and see what comes of that special event, if it’s a good spirit, acknowledge them by talking to them.

Try to focus on your sensations, on your feelings and emotions when you see them to try to understand the origin of this shadow. When there is a presence around us, even a ghost haunting our home, it doesn’t mean the ghost is evil as long as it doesn’t harm you or make you uncomfortable.

Now I can easily tell the difference between a good shadow and a bad one because in another old house I lived in, a haunted house, I saw a dark, frightening shape coming into my room and there was a shape of a man too noises and even screams in the middle of the night. It was an experience.

Now I see shadows in my new house, but it’s a very different experience.

When I see shadows and sense a presence in my current home, I keep calm, light a white candle and get cozy, sometimes even talk to it and say I’m glad it’s there and I hope it’s on its Journey in the afterlife going well.

No bad events have happened so far so I would guess it’s a good presence and the shadows I’m seeing is that spirit is still hanging here, maybe from someone who died years ago in the same house.

But while that presence doesn’t hurt or frighten me or my family, I’m perfectly fine with her being here. I am even thankful that my intuition helps me sense and feel this presence around me.
