Science proves: it’s better to train at night than in the morning –

The subject is controversial and divides opinions. Several professionals will recommend the basics: the best time to train it’s the one you have available (it’s certainly preferable to not going!). But if you’re part of the team that suffers a strong depression just thinking about setting the alarm clock to go off before the sun’s rays appear, working out at the end of the day becomes the best (and most sensible) option to comply with the training routine . The good news? Studies show unique benefits to your body and mind from training at night:

you will sleep better
Many studies have already shown that physical activity can lead to a better quality sleep and fight insomnia. This one gives National Sleep Foundationcarried out with Americans, shows that people who exercise vigorously, moderately or lightly sleep better (83%, 77% and 76%, respectively) than those who do not lead an active life.

It’s good for blood pressure
A study of Journal of Strength Conditioning showed interesting results with participants: people who trained at night reduced blood pressure by 15% more than those who did it in the morning.

Your weight loss can be faster
A study at the University of New England at Birmingham found that those who work out at night can increase training intensity by 20% – great news if you want to lose weight, as this also means greater caloric expenditure.

Favors lean mass gain
According to this research, our cortisol levels are highest in the morning, which can inhibit the muscle growth. But, testosterone levels are higher at night, which will boost lean mass gain.
