Return –

Just pick it up, start over, and don’t be afraid to feel a little lost. Life is happening and sometimes we escape our purposes or our intentions, the only problem is when we abandon and don’t question ourselves about what’s going on.

Giving up is not bad, sometimes we also need to learn to recalculate the route and look for new directions, this is also part of our journey. We just can’t think that giving up everything when it gets difficult is the only way, because there are several solutions.

Same thing when we think about letting go of our ideals because we’re tired. At times like this we just need to find new ways to rest until we feel ready to start again.

Resume your good eating, reading, and exercise habits. Resume healthy friendships that have been sidelined by the day-to-day rush. Take back or even build a good connection with yourself. Take back the creativity and lightness you had as a child. Take back your curiosity to live new experiences and discover new pleasures. Take back your life in a different way and understand that this is normal from time to time.

Some joke that the year only starts after Carnival, others report the difficulty of getting back to routine after the holiday breaks, some people comment on the chaos of implementing new habits in a busy life. It’s always time to review and resume something, as long as it’s for our well-being!

Around here, I want to resume some relationships with friends who were left behind due to the pandemic, I want to resume my daily studies to learn new things and feel up to date, I want to resume the healthy and conscious eating that I was doing well before the end of the year holidays, I want to resume physical exercises aimed at my emotional well-being and not just thinking about the physical.

And I admit that sometimes I feel pressured and insecure for “needing” to go back to something that I already did and that I shouldn’t have stopped doing. But then comes self-knowledge, acceptance of emotions and willingness to improve so that I don’t let those feelings take over and that it’s never too late for me to live the best version of myself!

I hope you can also assume these responsibilities along with the great act of courage to take back what is needed out there, as many times as you need it!
