Prayer to Our Lady of the Head to strengthen health

Why the name Our Lady of the Head?

It arose after an apparition of the Virgin Mary on Monte da Cabeça, in Spain. What is said is that a believer named Juan saw the saint, who recommended the construction of a church in that location. To make sure that it was real, the believer asked for a sign and then the arm he had lost in the war appeared again. The miracle spread and, thus, the devotion to Our Lady of the Head emerged, celebrated on August 12th.

“Hail immaculate, queen of glory, Holy Virgin of the Head, on whose admirable title our hopes are founded for being queen and mistress of all creatures. Refuge of sinners, pray for us. This ejaculation, repeated thousands of times throughout the Universe, ascends to the throne of glory on which you are seated and returns to Earth, bringing torrents of light and grace to poor sinners.

So help me, O most sweet Our Lady of the Head. “Grant me healthy eyes, so that I can always see the beauties created by God. “Grant me health of my mouth, so that I can always proclaim the holy Word of God. “Do not allow my head to be tormented by temptations and bad thoughts, so that I can have my thoughts turned to heaven and to the things on earth blessed by the Holy Trinity. “O Holy Mary, Our Lady of the Head, through the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ, you spread countless benefits over all of us. Here I am, to consecrate myself entirely to you.

I consecrate my head, my eyes, ears and mouth. I consecrate my thoughts to only think about what is fair and right. I consecrate my understanding to always choose good and avoid evil. I consecrate my reason to always lucidly choose the will of the Father. I consecrate my life so that I can live holiness in everything.
