Plastic surgeon chooses celebrities with the most perfect faces (using the golden ratio)

Plastic surgeons can know all about beauty. After all, giving people the face they’ve always wanted is their daily job. But not even they are able to objectively indicate what a beautiful person is. That’s why plastic surgeon Julian de Silva, from London (United Kingdom) decided to trust science and be more precise, based on an ancient Greek formula. He checks that they are the most beautiful famous according to this parameter.

At first glance it may seem that the golden ratio is just a mathematical formula. But it may be the secret to “measure” beauty. Many Renaissance sculptors and artists such as Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael used it to achieve balance and harmony in their works. Some people also believe that the most attractive human faces show the golden ratio.

But let’s get down to business. By this parameter, in First of all, a beautiful person’s face should be approximately 1.6 times as long as it is wide. Second, the distance between the forehead hairline and the inner part of the chin should be divisible into 3 equal parts, as shown in the image above. And finally, there are a few more proportions that can influence beauty. For example, the width of the eyes must be equal to the distance between them.

Julian decided to find out which celebrities are closest to that ideal. With the help of computerized mapping techniques, he analyzed various facial points such as face shape, lips, eyebrows and other features, and created the following list.
