We give Good shape we love to cook – and we encourage you to do the same whenever possible! This is one of the best ways to maintain a healthy, economical and balanced diet. But there are days when we just want a very tasty and practical delivery, right? The amount of plastic packages that is often involved in take-away meals raises concerns, but there are good alternatives available here in São Paulo.

Opened in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, the restaurant Olivia inaugurated a unit in São Paulo focused on sustainability – and in organic and healthy gastronomy. Entrepreneurs Eva Schvartz and Daniel Oelsner were able to design a scheme for reusable and returnable packaging. On the first purchase, the customer pays for the aluminum packaging (R$ 12.00) in which the salad is served. With each new order, it is possible to return the previous packaging and earn a credit of R$ 10.00 per unit returned. There is no charge for glass juice bottles and dessert jars – if they are returned, they guarantee a credit of R$ 1.00 per unit returned.

The salads on the menu are served in generous portions and with a great variety of ingredients. It is worth trying the falafel salad with sprouted lentils, quinoa, leaf mix, broccoli, red cabbage, radish, arugula, diced tomato, grilled green beans, cashew nuts, parsley and herb sauce (R$ 36.00). For R$40.00, the hummus version with grilled mushrooms, mix of organic leaves, roasted organic broccoli, organic red onion, sautéed organic leaves and organic cherry tomatoes goes down well.

You can also customize your salad or try one of the wraps, bowls or soups. For dessert, there is Amma 70% cocoa chocolate mousse with brownie (R$ 14.00), very dense, or very sweet banoffee with crumble with lemon zest, banana, dulce de leche, whipped cream and chocolate shavings, for the same price.
