Because he is a well-known name and the weight he represents in the world of cinema (he is the nephew of the consecrated director of The Godfather, Francis Ford Coppola), Nic decided to change the surname Coppola to Cage, inspired by Luke Cage, a famous Marvel hero. .

The flame of passion between Nic and Christina was short-lived as the couple broke up very quickly, already having a child. It was up to the actor, in one of the best phases of his career, to raise the child alone, a moment he defined as an experience that totally changed him: “During 19 years as a father I understood that fatherhood transformed me. In this regard, Cage was quite blunt about what his role in this film meant: “I know there is a gender bias depending on which lawyer, psychologist or family therapist you talk to. Like it’s a rare moment when a parent wants to see their child. This is not right. Just because you’re a man doesn’t mean you can’t raise a child. I believe families should stay together, but if you’re a single parent, don’t give up, no matter what they say.”

Weston decided to follow in Nic’s footsteps and delve into the art world, both in acting and music. He created a heavy metal band called Eyes of Noctum and made some appearances in films like 211 and Get Gone. At the age of 31, with four children, the result of three marriages, he develops his artistic life, undoubtedly with the great influence he received from the excellent artist who is his father.
