Caroline Deveaux from France unexpectedly became a celebrity in her hometown after buying a tractor from the Finnish brand Valtra, model N163 DU pink — the brand also operates here in Brazil. The pink tractor was from a limited edition, produced for raise awareness about breast cancer and also to raise funds for the treatment of the disease. Every 10 minutes in Britain alone, a woman is diagnosed with this condition.

When Caroline was asked why she had chosen that vehicle, the woman said: “Deep in my being, I’ve always been a bit of Barbie. It’s a day, at a fair in belgium i saw this tractor. For 13 years, Caroline has been working on the family farm in Rocroi. The idea of ​​making tractors with this somewhat different color started in 2013, when the Challenger company auctioned a large pink tractor and a series of toy copies of the vehicle🇧🇷 Proceeds from the sale were donated to the Lineberger Cancer Center at the University of North Carolina, USA.

Soon, this “challenge” was supported by Valtra, which belongs to the same Challenger group. For every pink tractor sold, the company donate 10,000 SEK to fund breast cancer research and cure millions of women on the planet.

Caroline also shared her impressions from a practical point of view: “On the outside, my tractor looks like a toy, but I love its power: It’s very easy to handle, it can pull 5 plows and it’s also my husband’s tractor. And at night, I turn on 14 lights on the tractor.

My ‘helper’ was also very practical: he features a video system, acoustic treatment and red leather trim🇧🇷 In addition, the cabin has heating. Now my kids watch graphics on DVD, while accompanying me at work”.

By the way, Caroline always participates in these projects. One of them was a campaign in which bales of hay were wrapped in pink plastic to raise funds for surgeries and research.

“It’s just a small drop that I want to collaborate with to help heal others. At the same time, we already know that the most vulnerable are farmers. For this reason, many of my friends are already thinking seriously about buying one of these tractors. They like to help and feel feminine even when doing heavy rural work”.

Caroline was recently asked about her next plans, and she revealed her new idea🇧🇷 “I decided to put a pink logo on my products as a ‘message’ to my customers. Because my mission as a woman farmer is not only to take care of the harvest, but also to sow love and solidarity”.
