Siyu Cao is a designer from Beijing, China. After many years of studying and working in the United States, France and the United Kingdom, she came to the conclusion that foreigners know very little about her country, and in general have very stereotypical thoughts about her culture. That’s why she decided to create comics about Chinese culture, and created a project called Tiny Eyes.
For more than a year, Siyu has been posting stories from her life on her Instagram account, presenting the traditions and mentality of the people of her country. According to her, comics are a good source of information for anyone who wants to know a little more about China.
