“Militant Barbie” meme is back to talk about Brazilian politics

Twitter, like the good no man’s land that it is, could not handle all the chaos of Brazilian politics in any other way if it weren’t for many memes to mock the critical situation that Brazil is experiencing. Recently, the wave that seems to have come to stay was that of militant Barbie🇧🇷 The doll known for marking the childhood of many children and representing an unattainable ideal of beauty, now symbolizes (in an ironic way!) the problematic speeches (at least!) of everyday life.

The game consists of telling a story based on the pictures of the character. The result? Funny, of course, but at the same time worrying, because it is possible to see that prejudices such as racism and homophobia are trivialized in people’s daily lives.
