Meditating means being attentive to all the activities of the mind.

The art of meditating involves much more than calming our mind and paying attention to our sensations.. In reality, isolating yourself in a quiet place and acquiring this habit, concentrating to learn to meditate, does not have true meaning if we are not able to integrate its meaning into our daily experience.

Meditation goes beyond spending time practicing it and learning to concentrate. The habit must be incorporated into our lives, so that there is an internal change, with the real intention of being better people: with our environment, with our nature and the beings that inhabit this world.

Our knowledge and beliefs prevent us from accessing a clear, innocent and sensitive mind to what surrounds us. The meaning of meditating leads us to a mind that is freed from distortion and mental noise, to acquire an awakening which makes us more aware of how all this influences our relationships and our behavior.

We learn to know our “I”

Meditation is beyond the mind. So when this calms down it is possible to reach a state of clarity that makes it easier to eliminate prejudices and preconceived ideas that distort our thoughts. This is how we can manage to organize our mind so that it becomes more sensitive and intelligent.

“It is necessary to be attentive to the disorder that exists within oneself, attentive to contradictions, dualistic struggles, opposing desires, attentive to ideological activities and their unreality. One has to observe “what is” without condemning, without judging, without evaluating at all.

By knowing our “I” and being attentive to how it acts and influences us, its absence occurs, observing it, and in this absence the mind puts itself in order. It does so by attending to present experience, increasing the possibilities of acquiring any potential learning.

Have you noticed how your experience is contaminated by your thoughts? If we are able to keep our mind calm, we can go towards the experience without restrictionsaccepting things as they are, without pretensions.

Meditating puts us in contact with our nature

Meditation is not a technique to practice, nor is it a skill that is acquired with our mind and, on the other hand, it does not require effort. Meditation is above any mental activity, since it is capable of observing this activity. At the limit where the mind ends is where meditation begins.

We use the mind to obtain achievements, goals and learning, however through meditation we reach our nature. We recognize our purest state that remains despite any experience and circumstance. This is how you reach the integration of who you are beyond your actions and your personal achievements. We contact our nature through meditation because we find our true being.

These generate a fog and clarity is lost. When ideas disappear, when there are no more clouds around you, when you focus only on your being, clarity occurs.”

The principle of meditation is self-knowledge

Getting to know oneself through meditation means being attentive to all our mental activity in the form of thoughts and feelings., in addition to all the activities that our mind generates. We act as observers of the experience and this is how we discover ourselves.

When we understand our mental activity we allow our unconscious to emerge spontaneously.. This is how we free ourselves from the noise that stuns us, confuses us and invades our consciousness. We remove the layers that hinder our vision to capture the world around us with greater clarity.
