Love is the art of starting over

Loving is the art of starting over. It is being resilient and persisting in improving; instead of leaving decide to stay, or after departure always come back. Restart.

An endless stream of new beginnings, every single day. After each disagreement sealed by a tight hug, which makes any reason outdated. After so many endless comings and goings, encounters and disagreements; with a single and faithful reason to persist, to bond, to get involved, and not to give up.

Life for two is made of mistakes, but above them, it’s made of a fresh start, of forgiveness. Daily forgiveness, painful forgiveness, relief with relief; the one that allows you to fill your lungs with tranquility and peace after an exhausting fight.

To love is to have a selective memory, to feel the need to forgive; a lump in my throat wanting to hug and kiss above any rancor. Restart.

SEE ALSO: WHILE THERE ARE YOU

Like a Ferris wheel with an incredible view, making us want to wait the whole way, even if it is long and tiring, knowing that up there, what awaits us is beautiful.

Two lives trying to fit together, like a jigsaw puzzle, human and everyday, where pieces are scattered along their paths with each sudden change, with each sneeze of time, waiting to be joined in the middle of a world that, to help, doesn’t stop to spin.

To love is to hold hands and feel connecting souls; it is mutually adapting to changes, sharing colorful paths and also colorless days. Restart.

A huge comfort in being able to make someone your home, in having a cozy heart waiting for you to arrive. The serenity of knowing that even when everything goes wrong, no matter what, at the end of the day, you have somewhere to run, a safe place to return to.

Loving is the art of starting over, it’s joining someone with the hope of ending the day in peace, and when it doesn’t, knowing that there’s someone by your side willing to start over, once again, in the morning, in pair.
