Hey love.

I’m not the type of person who uses the word “gratitude” often, but when it comes to you, I see several reasons to thank.

I’ve met many people, but none of them look like you. I know that nothing bad will truly affect me, because I have you to reassure me. Your voice is like a lullaby I listened to as a child.

Sometimes I have a hard time believing that you’re real. I do many things that I like during the day, but I only feel that I am fully happy when you hold me.

We hear a lot of negative things about what we feel. People act as if loving is a crime. But we both know there’s nowhere else I feel as safe as in your embrace.

So I thank you for pushing the bad thoughts away from me, because when we’re together I just think about how strong I am. I am so grateful to you for reminding me every day of the person I am, even if the world forces me to believe otherwise.

I know I have your heart and I want to have it until the end of my life.
