In order to guarantee energy for so many activities, Isis needs to have a balanced diet. Because you have celiac disease (gluten intolerance and derivatives), you need to follow a menu with a series of restrictions. The actress discovered the problem in her childhood and, because of this, does not consume foods containing wheat, oats, barley, rye and malt – this means that bread, pasta, pies and traditional cookies are out. On the other hand, rice, corn and cassava flours are permitted. “You can eat very well, even without gluten. Many people find it even tastier”, she comments. Symptoms of the disease can vary, but in general include constipation, anemia, weight loss, abdominal distension and even osteoporosis. Although it’s common to show up early, some adults discover the problem later. As it is a deficiency of the immune system itself, celiac disease is considered an autoimmune disease.

Luckily for Isis, meats, fruits, greens and vegetables are allowed, as well as dairy products. Like a good person from Minas Gerais, she doesn’t give up cheese bread (prepared with manioc flour) for lunch or breakfast. “And I love everything with milk – whole milk, because skimmed milk is too ‘watery’. I really do not deny my origin ”, says, jokingly, the native from Minas Gerais in Aiuruoca. On the recommendation of doctor Heloísa Rocha, Isis prefers low-lactose milk. She also loves smoothies blended in a blender, like the one prepared with avocado, milk, crushed ice and honey (since she prefers to dispense with sugar), her favorite. Another variation is to swap the avocado for beets and carrots. “It’s the kind of snack that sustains me a lot. I’m not the type to stick to the three-hour eating rule, so I don’t even try to diet. I prefer to eat when I feel hungry,” she says. Other fruits that are not lacking in the actress’s menu are bananas, melons, watermelons and papayas.

When it comes to main meals, Isis bets on salads and lean meats. She never eats pasta, because of wheat intolerance, but she doesn’t give up rice and beans. She also adhered to the white omelette, which can be stuffed with cheese or turkey breast. Whenever she has time, she invites her boyfriend to dinner at a Japanese restaurant. But she doesn’t like the raw fish alone, like in sashimi. “I always order the sushi wrapped in seaweed, which I think is delicious,” she says.

And what about dessert time? As a good person from Minas Gerais, the star prefers the traditional Romeo and Juliet (smudge guava paste with white cheese), but it can also be brigadeiro, cream ice cream or colored gelatin. When he realizes he’s been exaggerating with treats, he bets on green tea or garcinia. The latter is known to naturally suppress appetite. “I take it for five days and I notice that the desire to eat sweets decreases a lot. Besides, it’s tasty.”

On days when she goes to the gym, Isis drinks a glass of milk with a measure of whey protein (powdered whey protein) after exercising. She ingests together a bovine colostrum capsule, which is the pure extract of the cow’s first milk and rich in immunoglobulin G, an antibody indicated to fight bacteria, viruses and fungi, and is manufactured with the surplus production of the cow after the birth of the baby. calf. She doesn’t like taking other types of supplements for fear of adverse reactions. “I even bought a product to burn fat that was in fashion, but I found out, watching Fantástico, that the substance could be bad for the heart. I threw it out right away and never bought anything like it again. It’s not worth putting your health at risk to stay in shape,” she says.
