I don’t know how to love half

Maybe I should apologize to you before I even fall in love with you. Let me know that I, unfortunately, don’t know how to love in half. I don’t know how to love slowly. I’m intense, all or nothing, eight or eight thousand. I’m not love that arrives shy, I arrive knocking the doors of your heart. I don’t ask to come in, I just go in.

I don’t know how to love just once in a while, because if I love you, I’ll love you every day. I didn’t learn to love keeping half the love in my chest. I’m going to kiss you like you’re oxygen and I’m short of breath. I’ll love even when you’re moody and tired.

I will love you even if you are on the other side of the ocean.

I don’t know how to love in half because I am whole. I don’t want a love that only gives me crumbs. I want a love that I can live and feel. Collect memories, laughs, hugs, make out and leave the bedding all tangled up on the floor.

I’m terribly afraid of loving, but it’s because half of me is love and the other is not even spoken. I’m a love from hair to toe. I’m too complete to love someone who won’t fill me.
I don’t know how to love in half, and if it’s to love like that, I don’t even want to. So you think twice before making me fall in love with you.
