The denim vest is the most youthful among the vests and it is with it that you can create the most casual looks. What varies between denim vests is their wash and model: they can be more similar to a denim jacket or a denim shirt.

Due to its informality, it is worth betting on combinations with other pieces in jeans, t-shirts and dresses. Also combine with flats and sneakers and create a super young and modern look. For the consultant, the denim vest asks for more casual textures, such as prints and fabrics with more rustic textures.

Fur coat

The fur vest is the one that least gives you the possibility to use in the summer, as it is made of a warmer fabric. Vest in the summer: wear vests of light colors and more open is the advice that the consultant gives. “For the look to be very light, make combinations of fresh and light colors such as beige, white, blue or light green, for example. Mix it with skirts or shorts at the bottom”, she guides.

How to combine: making combinations with the vest is not very difficult, but to leave the current look use it with printed pieces creating texture. “It can be a vest over a dress, with a blouse and long skirt, or looking for a more masculine look, with tailored pants or shorts and a printed shirt”, advises Marcele.

Vest and physical type: for the consultant, what interferes the most so that the vest does not fit well are the width of the strap and the depth of the neckline. “Whoever has more hips and less bust looks better with narrower vests, which have a more open neckline”, she teaches. For those who have more bust and less hips, the tip is to use them with wider straps. For shorts, the ideal is to wear vests with less deep necklines. “The higher ones look better with those with deep necklines where the buttoning starts at the level of the stomach”, details Marcele. Plus size women with more hips and less bust can wear more varieties of vest, such as printed ones, for example. “Big bust ones should look for more closed and discreet tones”, she concludes.

Vest in the work environment: women should prefer more discreet models. “The print or pattern of the fabric must be very small and in discreet colors, the cut must be more aligned”, adds Marcele.

Vest at a formal event: choose models with glitter, either with embroidery or more shiny fabrics. It is worth combining with more formal pieces and never forget the high heels.
