How to make perfume to create your own favorite fragrance

Simple countertype perfume

Ingredients

• 50 ml perfume base
• 10 ml of essence similar to the perfume of your choice

Preparation mode

1. In a clean, dry glass bottle with a lid, add the essence and the perfume base. Cap the bottle and shake it so that the liquids mix;
2. Store the bottle in a dark place for about 10 to 15 days so that the perfume has a good fixation and exudes its fragrance;
3. After that period, it’s ready to use!

Imported counter-type perfume

Ingredients

• 50 ml of essence similar to the perfume of your choice
• 170 ml of grain alcohol
• 30 ml of mineral water

Preparation mode

1. In a container, add the grain alcohol, the essence and mix briefly. Then add the water and stir gently for a few minutes so that the liquids are incorporated;
2. Pour the liquid into a clean, dry glass bottle of your choice. Close it tightly, wrap it in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for at least 3 days. Then leave it for another day in a place with good lighting;
3. Repeat the previous step as many times as necessary. The more times you repeat it, the stronger your fragrance and hold.

Perfume inspired by the fragrance of Dolce & Gabbana

Ingredients

• 1 L of grain alcohol
• 10 ml of Maskanol
• 10 ml of isopropyl myristate
• 10 ml of fixative
• 10 ml of Dolce & Gabbana fragrance essence

Preparation mode

1. In the flask with the grain alcohol, add the Maskanol and the isopropyl myristate. Close the bottle and shake it to mix the liquids. Then add the fixative and stir again;
2. In a 100 ml bottle, clean and dry, preferably with a spray bottle, place 50 ml of the grain alcohol prepared in the previous step;
3. Add the 10 ml of essence to the bottle, close it and stir until the liquids are incorporated;
4. Then put the jar in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for about 24 hours. After this time, remove from the freezer, open the lid for a few seconds, close it again and leave the bottle in a dark place for another 24 hours;
5. After this period, open the bottle again for a few seconds, reseal it and take it again to the freezer for 24 hours. Repeat the process for at least 7 days to help the scent stick to the skin. Once that’s done, it’s ready to use!

Perfume with essential oils

Ingredients

• 10 ml of perfume base
• 2 drops of vetiver essential oil
• 1 drop of galbanum essential oil
• 2 drops of black pepper essential oil
• 5 drops of geranium essential oil
• 7 drops of laurel essential oil
• 7 drops of bergamot essential oil

Preparation mode

1. In a bowl, add the perfume base and drops of vetiver, galbanum, black pepper, geranium, bay leaf and bergamot essential oils. Gently mix;
2. Carefully transfer the liquid to a dark bottle, close it and place it in the fridge for at least two days, leaving the bottle in the farthest part of the freezer. Remove from the freezer and it’s ready to use!

simple solid perfume

Ingredients

• 3 tablespoons of beeswax
• 6 tablespoons of babassu coconut oil
• 60 ml of your favorite essence

Preparation mode

1. In a pan, add the beeswax, babassu coconut oil and heat over low heat until completely melted, stirring gently a few times. It is important not to let them boil so that they do not lose their properties;
2. Add the essence and mix gently;
3. Distribute the liquid into clean, dry, lidded glass containers. Let the liquid harden and your solid perfume is ready!

Natural and vegan solid perfume

Ingredients

• 1 tsp carnauba wax for cosmetic use
• 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
• 15 drops tea tree essential oil
• 15 drops of rosemary essential oil
• 10 to 15 drops of lavender essential oil

Preparation mode

1. If your coconut oil is in a solid state, put it in a container and melt it in a water bath, being careful not to let it boil. If your oil is already liquid, skip this step;
2. In the container with the vegetable oil, add the essential oils, mix well and set aside;
3. In a pan with hot water, melt the carnauba wax in a bain-marie until it becomes liquid. Then add the coconut oil mixture with the essences and stir well until smooth;
4. Let it cool down until it solidifies and it’s ready to use!
