We know, eating well is not so easy when the option to devour french fries is not on the plate.
But with that in mind, nutritionist Blanca García posted a healthy version of the much-loved dish on her Instagram.
And it’s still much easier to do. That’s because, instead of being made in a fryer, they are made in a microwave.
INGREDIENTS
Potatoes Salt to taste Extra virgin olive oil Ice
METHOD OF PREPARATION
First, cut the potato into thin slices (as in the photo below).
Then dip them in water, ice and salt for 10 minutes. This trick will keep the potatoes from going soft.
Drain the water, dry the potatoes with a paper towel and then place them on a plate (it is important to use a large plate as the potatoes should not be piled up).
Brush them with oil.
Then put it in the microwave for 5 to 6 minutes at a power of 750w.
Remove, turn the potatoes and repeat the procedure in the microwave.
