How to have a picnic at home? You don’t need more than the space in your living room and a few other things that you probably already have lying around.

This guide can work for any occasion, but I’m focusing on explaining how to make a romantic picnic at home.

It’s very easy, it’s just a matter of putting creativity and a few decorating tricks into it.

How to have a romantic picnic at home?

The first thing when organizing a picnic, at home or away, is to choose the place.

I propose that it be in the living room because it is usually the largest space in the house and many of the elements that we will use you probably already have there, on hand.

1. Carpet, mat and blankets

It’s a picnic, so get down. But, so that comfort is not lacking, you need a rug, mat, a mat, blankets and even a duvet could work.

And, by the way: No shoes during the picnic, please, so as not to get more dirty than necessary.

2. Cushions

Use the cushions in the living room and combine them with some others you already have so that they are more comfortable and the picnic area looks more welcoming.

9. A fort

Ok, it’s complicated, but not impossible. If you feel brave, build a fort with sheets and blankets to complete the romantic atmosphere.

After dinner, you could enter the fort or have the entire picnic inside: ropes, chairs, clothespins, and other items at home could help.
