Use makeup to your advantage

Makeup artist Dulce Lütke, from the Expert Beauty Center salon network, has experience in artistic makeup and facial shaping. According to her, it is possible to reduce up to 1.5 cm of forehead with make-up effects. Another tip for not highlighting the volume of the forehead even more is to draw attention to another place that you want to highlight. Those who are not comfortable with a large forehead, but love their eyes, lips, chin, or nose can choose to draw attention to these parts with makeup.

To create highlights and shadows, you’ll need concealer, foundation, and powder that match your skin color, as well as a concealer stick or foundation or powder in a few darker shades. The makeup artist prefers a dark blush, matte terracotta or tobacco. “For a good finish, you should use a medium-sized flat brush with a rounded tip”, she advises.

Using a technique called shaping or contouring, popularized by Kim Kardashian, you highlight points you find attractive on your face by illuminating and camouflaging unfavorable points using shading. “For example, if the goal is to disguise the forehead, you will use the blush from the roots of the hair towards the center of the face.
