I will share with you steps to remove negativity from your environment by harnessing the power of a salt bowl.

1. Choose a bowl

Let’s start by choosing a bowl for the ritual. Depending on your preference, you can either go for a fancy choice or something simple and plain. In my case, I prefer simplicity, so a black or white soup bowl is my ultimate choice. You can prepare a smaller bowl if you don’t need a lot of space for the negativity removal process.

If you intend to leave the bowl in the house for more than a week, I advise you to choose the non-porous one.

“ Why can’t I use a porous bowl? ”Well, that doesn’t mean you can’t use it. The thing is that salt penetrates all porous material and possibly destroys the protective layer that it has. But if you don’t have a problem with that, just use whatever you want.

After having a bowl, you now need the main ingredient for the ritual. It’s okay to use whatever salt you already have in your cupboard. However, when it comes to spiritually removing negative energy, I don’t think that processed salt is natural enough. In fact, to me it’s mechanical and lifeless.

This is why I choose solar evaporated Hawaiian sea salt. For everyone who does fancy If you want to find that feeling, then consider Himalayan Pink Sea Salt, Japanese Flake Sea Salt, Kosher Diamond Crystal Salt, Black Sea Salt, or other natural types. If you don’t like your salt bowl with just one type of salt, mix it up with some regular sea salt.

3. Adding herbs and essential oils

This is optional step means you can follow if you like.

When preparing for a negative energy removal ritual, you can all be creative when you reach this step. Look through your cupboards and peruse the spice rack and tea tins carefully. You may consider adding some other herbs to your salt bowl for enhanced energy cleansing power.

For example I choose Juniper berries for my salt bowl as this is a protective herb that can protect me from harmful elements. Additionally, peppercorns and cloves are also my picks of choice—besides protection, they are known as ingredients for banishing negative energy. In some cases I will add a few drops of thieves, lavender or tea tree for the better.

Other protective herbs to choose from include bay leaves, rosemary, rue, and garlic. Not many people know, but the combination of salt and lemon can perfectly eliminate negativity.

4. Sing your intentions out loud

Once all the ingredients are in the salt bowl, use a spoon and mix everything together or you can just do it with your fingers. Remember to clean your hands first. Please say your deepest intention out loud while mixing.

5. Find a place to put the salt bowl

The last step is to find a suitable place in the house to place your spiritual salt bowl. There are some ideal places for your consideration, e.g. B. near the window or the fireplace or in the kitchen. In my experience, most people prefer to keep their salt bowl near the door.

The salt bowl can increase your awareness of the situation. Therefore, be aware when using it. Use it as a cleanser to refresh your energy every time you come around. The salt can help you push away or absorb the negativity, or you can send any misguided energies into the ground by holding a handful of salt in your hand.

Others say they usually place four salt bowls in four corners of their bedroom. We all know that the rest area exudes comfort and its presence gives all practitioners a magical feeling. If you want to try this but don’t want to put a lot of bowls of salt in the room, just sprinkle it on each corner of your main bowl.
