How 8 sets of Hollywood twins famous in the 1980s and 1990s changed

Having something good is great, but having two is perfect and unforgettable. Hollywood used to have multiple sets of twins in the 1980s and 1990s, adored the world over. But surprisingly little is known about them. The greatest tragedy of the Hollywood twins is that they first shine so brightly as to hurt the eyes, then turn and march off into the sunset, leaving us waiting for the continuation…

At the incredible.club we remembered several pairs of twins that were popular in the 1980s and 1990s and did some research to find out what they’re up to today.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were probably the most popular twins in the 1990s and early 2000s. Their career began with the role of Michelle Tanner on the popular sitcom Three is too much🇧🇷 Later, they starred in several films about twins. However, at the age of 18, they left their movie careers, moved to New York and started working in the fashion industry as stylists.

Cole and Dylan Sprouse became very popular for their roles as Zack and Cody in Zack & Cody: Twins in Action (2005-2008) by Disney. After the television series, Zack & Cody: Twins on Board (2008-2011), the brothers took a break from acting for a while, but have now returned to the big screen. Cole stars in the popular series riverdale (2017-2019) and Dylan acted in several movies.

The Mowry twins gained recognition when they starred in the series Sister Squared (1994-1999). Later, they appeared in many television projects together and won the hearts of the audience. The sisters are still acting, are married and each have a couple of children.

Blake and Dylan’s first and last roles were as twins Alex and Nicky on the popular series Three is too much (1992-1995) and in 2 sequel episodes of the same series🇧🇷 in 2016. Today, Dylan works as a Foley artist (a person who recreates sounds for movies); in one of his projects he recreated sounds for Game of Thrones. Blake works as a sound engineer (or sound designer) in the film industry.

Tiffany and Krystle have played twins in several films, but are best known for their roles in The Pest 2 (1991), where they played the twins who constantly try to sell something. The girls’ film career was quite short, and currently they live a quiet and ordinary life and don’t share much with their fans.

Brittany and Cynthia became popular after their roles as Jessica and Elizabeth on the series Hey guys (1994-1997). For Brittany, it wasn’t her first role as she had already appeared in several other projects. And it wasn’t the last, as she continued acting and later got married. As for Cynthia, she abandoned her acting career and became a photographer. She is also married and has 3 children.

The twins founded the pop punk band Good Charlotte in 1996. The band, which still exists, was very popular in the 1990s and early 2000s. The Madden brothers are also coaches on the Australian version of the show. The Voice🇧🇷 Joel is married to Nicole Richie and has 2 children, his brother Benji is married to Cameron Diaz.

Lisa and Louise played the twins of The illuminated (1980). Although both of their performances were memorable, they did not pursue their film careers and continued to live an ordinary life away from public attention. Lisa studied literature at university and Louise became a microbiologist.
