The feline’s death – yes, she is female and not male – was announced this Friday (17th), through her official Instagram page. “Some days are crankier than others,” the post reads.

According to the publication, the kitten died due to complications from a urinary tract infection. “She passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 14th, at home in the arms of her mother, Thabata.” Grumpy and his family lived in Phoenix, the capital of Arizona, in the United States.
