Gas safely

For your safety:

🇧🇷 Never buy gas cylinders from clandestine sellers.

🇧🇷 The cylinder must be in good condition, with an intact seal and security seal. If it is dented or rusted, it may leak gas.

🇧🇷 Leave the cylinder in a ventilated place: never inside a cupboard, cabinet, stairwell or basement.

🇧🇷 Place it away from switches and electrical installations.

🇧🇷 Always keep the cylinder away from drains, where the gas can flow and explode.

🇧🇷 Do not leave the spare cylinder next to the one in use.

🇧🇷 The hose must not be placed behind the stove! Especially the plastic one, which can melt with heat.

🇧🇷 Never use matches to confirm leaks!!! To do this, pass a sponge with soapy water over the valve. If bubbles appear, the gas is leaking.

🇧🇷 Do not place a dish towel or objects that could catch fire near or on top of the cylinder.
🇧🇷 Plug the stove into an outlet without extension cords or benjamin.

🇧🇷 If you are going to leave the house, never leave food in the fire and, to avoid any damage or explosion, close the gas register.

Before changing the cylinder check:

🇧🇷 If all the knobs on the stove are really off.

🇧🇷 If the place has ventilation and is free of flames – candles, matches, lighters or lit cigarettes.

🇧🇷 If the hose and pressure regulator are valid. The right thing is to change them every five years.

Tips for saving gas:

🇧🇷 Install the stove where there is no draft, which delays cooking and therefore consumes more gas.

🇧🇷 Keep all stove burners clean by washing them in boiled water with detergent.

🇧🇷 Strike the match first and only then turn on the gas.

🇧🇷 When cooking, keep the pots covered to take advantage of the heat.
