Some simple exercises can cure quite common ailments, such as irritation, anxiety, migraines, hangovers and even swelling. That’s because these problems happen when there is energy imbalance in the body.

“A massage at the correct points improves the distribution of that energy”, points out Flávia Giglio Bulgueroni, physiotherapist and acupuncturist at the Esteticare clinic. She teaches you how to do self-massage and end the discomfort.

It’s easy to massage!

· Before starting, rub your hands together until warm. This activates circulation in the fingertips.

· At the points indicated for each symptom (on the side), press with your thumb or forefinger.

· Squeeze each point for a minute or two.

· “The ideal pressure is dosed when half of the nail turns white, that is, you don’t need to exert a lot of force”, advises physiotherapist and acupuncturist Flávia Giglio, from Esteticare.
