Disney Princesses Before and After “WiFi Ralph: Breaking the Internet”

In 2012 debuted Wreck it Ralph, a film that tells the adventures of a video game villain who wants to become a hero. In the plot, Ralph lives a beautiful friendship and great adventures with Vanellope, a character in the game. In 2018 the two teamed up for the sequel, Ralph WiFi: Breaking the Internet, a film that brings a series of references to the world of cartoons. In one part of the story, Vanellope meets all the Disney princesses in their 3D version, an encounter that brings great dialogue and presents the princesses in a very different way than we know.

1. Snow White

Snow White was created in 1937 and is one of the first cartoon princesses the world has known. Among the many adventures that this 13-year-old has to face is the poisoning caused by the Evil Queen. This moment is mentioned in the scene where Vanellope meets the princesses; Snow White herself makes an ironic reference and shows the apple that intoxicated her. In the movie, the princess wears the same outfit as the character in the original movie and features a few different details on her face, such as her eye size, color, and shine.

2. Cinderella

Created in 1950, Cinderella is a strong and independent woman who has to deal with the mistreatment of her stepmother and her two daughters. When Vanellope enters the room where all the princesses are, Cinderella is combing Pocahontas’ hair. She quickly breaks her glass slipper to defend herself from the “threat” that the girl represents. If we look at the image, we will notice that the new Cinderella looks like she is 19 years old, different from the original drawing. In addition, she is much more modern, but has not lost the angelic charm of the previous version.

3. Dawn

Sleeping Beauty is a 1959 film and the protagonist is Princess Aurora, a woman well known for her kindness. in the scene of Ralph WiFi, she starts by questioning Vanellope’s experiences as a princess, but then relaxes and tells some personal secrets. The design of the new Aurora is much more modern, but the essence of the princess has been kept.

Disney’s version of The Little Mermaid it’s from 1989. The new version of the character is portrayed with great humor, even when he tells how he managed to survive. Unlike most princesses, she appears wearing a t-shirt. In addition, in Ralph Wifi, Ariel underwent some physical changes, such as her eyebrows, which became much thicker. But her most characteristic aspect remained just as beautiful: her red hair.

In the new version, she appears wearing the characteristic golden dress and carrying some books. If we look at the “before” and the “after”, we won’t see any big changes. The animation has another style, but the essential features have been preserved.

Pocahontas looks quite different from the original version and features much larger eyes. Mulan is 1998 animation and tells the story of a young woman with a great spirit of freedom and who does everything to prevent her old father from going to war. The new version is quite different from the previous one: her hair is shorter and some of her features have been retouched. At first, some people had trouble recognizing her.

9. Tiana

Tiana is a princess from 2009. Young and dreamy, her biggest desire is to own coffee shops. The plot tells the story of a prince who has been turned into a frog and who needs to be kissed. The problem is that when the kiss happens, Tiana also turns into a frog. The character appears in Ralph Wifi and her transformation is evident: she has different features and lighter skin, a reason for many questions. However, it looks like Disney has gone to great lengths to correct this mistake.

10. Rapunzel

Rapunzel is a 2010 cartoon and tells the story of a girl with long, magical hair who was locked in a tower for many years. The new version is very similar to the previous one. There were just a few touches of brightness and color.

Elsa is a 2013 character who was born with magical powers: she is able to create ice, frost and snow. In the story, she goes through great challenges, among them improving the relationship she has with her younger sister, Anna. in the version of Ralph Wifi, Elsa doesn’t look much different, if only because it’s only five years that separate the two versions. And she continues to demonstrate good skills at freezing things, which helps both Ralph and Vanellope.

Anna, Elsa’s sister, was also created in 2013. In the film, she has to face some problems, including the loss of her parents and the complicated relationship she has with her sister. It appears in some passages of Ralph Wifi and is super similar to the previous version.

14. Moana

Moana is the last princess drawn by Disney. In 2016, we all fell in love with this girl who does her best to fight for the mores of her people and to keep the place where she lives from disappearing. As in the two previous examples, Moana does not show major differences in the image created in Ralph Wifi🇧🇷
