Dating is moving furniture around, even if it’s dusty to adapt to the new tenant and share dreams in peace.

It is being willing to understand crises, breathing a little deeper in difficult moments and finally understanding that respect and loyalty are not personal characteristics, but sincere feelings for the other.

Dating is being willing to share, add and surprise.

It’s having more than love, it’s falling in love every day with the same person, knowing how to feel the pain of the next and reaching out, without excuses.

It’s recognizing a mistake and chasing the loss, looking for continuous improvement. It’s crying over a fight, but then smiling with an apology, with a gesture that shows regret or a new achievement.

Dating is traveling in ardent kisses, in an uncontrollable lust. It is, daily, putting a wood in the fire that must never go out. Dating is listening to an opinion that is contrary to your own, but trying to find a balance between the differences. Dating is insisting, persisting and never giving up.

It’s wanting to continue, demonstrate and put yourself in the other’s shoes. Dating is knowing how to like, it’s being reciprocal. Dating is doing your part, and praying for the other to do theirs. Don’t wear out the relationship with demands, each one’s conscience and common sense are worth more than insults or offenses.

In love, there are no requests, it just happens and makes itself present. It is up to each one to deal with this sense in their own way.

Still, if you’ve done everything and, unfortunately, it didn’t work out and it’s over, take some time for yourself, discover that self-love is also capable of making us happy, before we wish to guarantee the smiles of a new suitor. If you did better in this relationship than in any previous one, you did the right thing.

Keep investing, with body, soul and heart, don’t accept to receive in installments a debt that doesn’t belong to you. Don’t make false promises, pay cash. But if someone comes along who fills you, again, start over from scratch and love them. Without comparisons, always be more.
