I was walking back from the bakery to my beach house. The street was deserted. And close to home I saw my mother entering a vacant lot. But before she went in she stopped and I looked into my eyes, as if she was luring me to go in there too. I clearly remember how she was dressed! She was wearing a white beach cover-up. I got close to the place and I remember calling her for a while. But before entering the place, I felt that something was not right, and that what I saw was not my mother. So I went straight home to find out the truth or if it was just in my head, and my mom was actually out on that lot doing whatever. When I got home I found my mother in a totally different outfit. I told you what I saw. And she just said it was weird. I can’t stop thinking that something was drawing me to that wasteland. And it certainly wasn’t a good thing. When I pass near the place. A strange feeling remains. To this day I still remember that woman looking at me, that despite looking like my mother, there was something evil in her eyes, sometimes I wonder what that thing was and what she wanted with me.
