App reveals the 15 main goals of Brazilians for 2019

It’s always the same: with the arrival of the new year, the list of promises increases. To draw an overview of what are the main motivators for the coming months, the application 7 waves produced a list of 15 biggest goals of Brazilians for 2019.

The data was collected from the app’s own base, with more than 37 thousand goals of life registered by the users. Wishes scheduled to be completed between January and December 2019 were observed.

How does 7waves work?

On the platform, the user can register their objectives, adding goals, costs and even budgets🇧🇷 From there, the application does an automated curation, using a tool that mines articles through searches in the Google🇧🇷

According to people’s goals, the app generates a feed news related to your orders. These are reports, articles, news and studies found on the internet and selected by the platform’s curators.

If the application realizes that the listed contents are not being effective, the team itself produces material with specialists in each area.

“We want to create the habit of resorting to objectives several times a year, not just once, like in the new year”, comments Rodolfo Ribeiro, CEO and founder of the business. The general idea of the app is to generate guidance and help users to complete their goals.

Then, it can also be seen that most of the goals registered by users are linked to income. “It is an excellent thermometer of our society”, comments Rodolfo. For the app creator, the appearance of “public tender” on the list is also a surprise. “This factor seems a little distant to me, even more so considering the year we are in.”

The list provided by the app also allows you to see how users position themselves when it comes to aesthetics. Last year, “losing weight” and “playing sports” were top priorities.

For 2019, however, the distance between “losing weight” and “having a healthy diet” demonstrates how users seem much more interested in a healthy life, less connected only to aesthetics.

As for the three main points on the list, Rodolfo believes that “saving money”, “learning something new” and “practicing sports” are items that really touch people. Unemployment, the dream of investing and purchases with high interest rates, for example, are issues frequently mentioned by users.

In addition, application specialists say that these three objectives are the ones that people do least, as they require greater engagement and planning.

The app, whose name is inspired by one of the biggest New Year rituals, jumping the seven waves, has an average of two hundred downloads per day.

For the creator, the app focuses on medium and long-term goals. Therefore, it is important to follow the evolution and have the intermediate achievements registered on the platform.
