Anitta makes history and reaches the Top 1 of Spotify Global with “Envolver”

Anitta is the first Brazilian singer to reach the Top 1 of Spotify Global with her hit “Envolver”. The song was produced by the singer who faced machismo when she didn’t listen to her producers, who didn’t believe in the potential of the song without a feat from another male singer.

The “El paso de Anitta” as the choreography on TikTok became known moved all the followers to imitate the dance, which made the song gain even more visibility. Both the composition, choreography and direction are by the artist herself, who had a reduced budget to produce the clip.

Anitta’s success story

Anyone who sees the singer’s success today can’t imagine how much she struggled to get where she is. Larissa de Macedo Machado is the recording name of the singer who abandoned her career in the corporate world to dedicate herself to her passion. She graduated in business administration at the Instituto Superior de Educação do Rio de Janeiro (ISERJ / FATEC) and, during this period, was called to do an internship at the mining company Vale do Rio Doce.
