Ángela Show: “At 17 I said at home that I was going out for milk and I ran away to Ibiza”

In this utopian life the final destination is California, but the origin remains undisturbed: his beloved Asturian land. “I was born in Grado and I proudly sell it wherever I go,” says the artist. She grew up on bottles of phosphatine on the knees of María – who for practical purposes acted as a maid, but for Ángela she was a “tata” – on the extensive family plot of Soto del Barco. When she managed to share her family stigmas, the artist had to face the social ones: “Now they applaud me, but in other times I was the weirdo for exercising my right to freedom.”

She defines herself as abstemious and calm – except for the sixteen Chaos-Cola she can drink a day. “I've been sowing all my life, it's time to collect some,” confesses the dancer, who since the day of her birthday, has only received good news.
