And if it works? – GOOD SHAPE

I constantly hear from several people around me “what am I going to do if it goes wrong?”, “I can’t take it”, “the worst case scenario is…”, “it’s too good to be true, it will soon be over”, “I need to think about the next plans, as it is obvious that something is going to go wrong”. But what if it works? Are you really prepared to live your best life?

Limiting beliefs, fear of the unknown, anxiety, insecurity, victimization, imposter syndrome, loss of control… There are many factors that can arise when we think about making things happen in our lives. We question ourselves countless times about the possible mistakes and problems that may arise along the way, but sometimes we forget to prepare ourselves to succeed.

Once, in my personal therapy, I was reporting several problems I had for something to come true in my life. I said that there was no point in dreaming because it was impossible at that moment, and my psychologist told me “Pri, organize yourself as if there weren’t these limiters in your way. Just do what is necessary and throughout the process the problems will be solved”.

Little does she know how much it impacted me and continues to reverberate to this day, after all, we will never have the solutions to all our future problems, much less be able to predict what will happen. So, preparing for the best may be our best option at the present time.

What is the chance of achieving our dreams if we just complain, focus on the obstacles and give up halfway through? We need to face the obstacles of the journey with an open mind, a heart full of purpose, and the resilience to adapt to whatever comes our way.

I don’t know what my future will look like, but I don’t want to waste all my time wondering about future illnesses, problems, or crises that I may have to face. I want to focus on doing the best I can today, on having a healthy body to live good years, on persisting in what I believe and being proud of who I already am and who I will become.

I want to stop suffering in anticipation for several things that only exist in my head, after all, almost always everything flows much better than I could imagine!

Let’s let the universe present us, open ourselves to life’s good surprises and be certain that we will be able to learn from the path and that we will know how to change the route when necessary. Let’s let life flow and do what we can to evolve in this life!
