Rick Dalton is also a fictional character, but he was inspired by Ty Hardin, a star of western movies who became famous after playing the lead role in the series “Bronco” (1958).

In Tarantino’s film, the true star of classic cinema also appears, the American actress Brenda Vaccaro. Her career began in the movie “Lost in the Night” (Midnight Cowboy) in 1969.
