That summer is synonymous with fun, no one can deny. Warm temperatures, travel and weather makes it the perfect time to bet on drinks delicious at the end of the day – or by the pool at the end of the week.
But of course, always in moderation. “Moderate alcohol consumption is defined as one US cup (14 g of alcohol) per day for women and two US cups (28 g of alcohol) per day for men.” Luana Luz, gastroenterologist and hepatologist. She also gives some tips to put into practice when consuming drinks, to minimize unwanted effects:
TIPS FOR DRINK TIME
Alternate the alcohol with the water. Alcohol acts as a diuretic, i.e. its excess leads to dehydration. Drinking water together avoids effects such as headache caused by dehydration. don’t forget to feed well before and during: opt for options with carbohydrates and foods with a high liquid content. Do not drink alcohol mixed with coffee or energy drinks. Do not mix medications and alcohol. Many medications are metabolized in the liver and so is alcohol. Some remedies may have their effect potentiated or diminished with alcohol. If your doctor says not to drink, don’t!

DRINK FLORA
Recipe by bartender Matheus Lima from Entre Amigos restaurant
Ingredients:
Orange juice (100ml) Passion fruit pooper (50ml) Sugar (40g) Gin (50ml) Tonic water
Method of preparation: Beat the orange juice, the passion fruit pulp and the sugar in the blender. Then strain this mixture straight into a glass filled with ice to the top. Add 50 ml of gin and complete with tonic water. You can finish/decorate with mint leaves to make it more refreshing.

DRINK GINGER
Ingredients:
Tonic water with ginger 50ml of Gin 1 slice of lemon Mint to garnish
Method of preparation: Put the Gin in the glass, mix it with the tonic water with ginger and the slice of lemon. Finally, garnish with mint on top and serve.

YELLOW PASSION
Ingredients:
50ml White Run 20ml Passion fruit syrup 20ml Contreau 20ml Sicilian lemon 6 mint leaves
Method of preparation: Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake for 10 seconds and strain into a mug.

CHANGE
Ingredients:
Chopped strawberries Green Tea with Lemon Sliced lemon Mint leaves (optional) Ice to taste
Method of preparation: put the lemon and strawberry in a glass or bowl, then pour the green tea with lemon to taste, put the desired amount of ice and garnish with mint. Serve well chilled.

CASHEW FRIEND
Ingredients:
SYRUP
200 g refined sugar
200 g concentrated MAGUARY cashew juice
ASSEMBLY
½ cashew in cubes
1 tablespoon sugar
¼ cup (tea) concentrated cashew juice
¼ cup vodka (tea)
¼ teaspoon of cashew syrup
1 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
ice cubes to taste
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Method of preparation: In a pan over medium heat add the sugar, let it melt and caramelize slightly, add the concentrated cashew juice.

PINEAPPLE MOJITO
Ingredients
50 ml rum 25 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 slice of pineapple, cut into cubes 1 slice of mint 2 teaspoons sugar Soda water Ice
Method of preparation: In a tall glass, add the cubes of pineapple, mint, squeezed lemon juice, sugar and macerate. Add the rum and mix. Add the ice and complete the glass with sparkling water and mix. Lightly tap the mint to release more aroma and decorate the glass.

50 ml of Malibu rum; 50 ml of watermelon juice; 15 ml of lemon juice; 50 ml of soda; Ice
Method of preparation: In a tall glass with ice, add the Malibu rum, watermelon juice, lime juice, soda and mix.

GITAYA

Ingredients:
50 ml homemade pitaya syrup (recipe below)
30 ml Sicilian lemon juice
1 can of pitaya energy drink
Ice
Syrup Ingredients:
500 ml of water 500g of sugar 150g of pitaya in natura
Method of preparation: Before starting the preparation of the drink, it is worth having your homemade pitaya syrup ready.
It’s simple: Bring the ingredients to a boil and stir until it reaches the consistency of syrup: at this point, your homemade syrup will be ready. After that, in a tall glass, place 50ml of the syrup, 30ml of Sicilian lemon juice and stir. Add the energy drink and add plenty of ice. To finish, put a slice of fresh or dehydrated Sicilian lemon, if you prefer.

FRESH SUMMER
Recipe by bartender Koroknai Klári
Ingredients:
3 units of strawberry or 5 units of raspberry 1 Sicilian lemon 4 sprigs of mint 1 can of pitaya energy drink Ice
Method of preparation: In a wide glass, place the strawberries or raspberries (recipe with both can also be made). Squeeze some of the lemon and then place the slices in the glass. Complete with pitaya energy drink. Finally, place the mint sprigs on top. If you prefer a more intense flavor, it is worth macerating the fruits together with the herbs.
