9 mistakes in “The Devil Wears Prada” that went unnoticed by many viewers

The Devil Wears Prada is a very beloved film in our country. The engaging script, mixed with the complex characters of Miranda and Andy, plus the smart jokes and fascinating looks, made the work one of those necessary pleasures to watch on a late Sunday afternoon, for example.

However, there are always filming errors and flaws in the script that, with a little attention to detail, can be easily spotted by the most attentive eyes.

The Devil Wears Prada may be one of the brightest and most entertaining films of the last decade, but it also had its flaws, like any other feature film. We, from awesome.club, we were able to identify 9 errors that may have gone unnoticed by many viewers. Check it out!

In a frame at the restaurant, when Andy is offering gifts to her boyfriend and friends, she hands Lily a small transparent box of Clinique products. But when she is putting the products in her friend’s hand, she also appears holding a blue box, which until that moment had not appeared on the screen. Where would it have come from?

Nate apparently yearns to be a professional chef and, in the plot, already works as an expert in the kitchen. However, his cooking skills seem well below average. In one scene, he appears to burn a grilled cheese sandwich that he makes for Andy. Was that really the intention of the sweet spot?

In one of the scenes, Miranda challenges Andy by asking him to complete multiple tasks in one day. One is getting a steak for lunch at her favorite restaurant. Incidentally, the chief editor demands that the dish be on her desk within 15 minutes. Because of Andy’s rush, something goes almost unnoticed by many viewers… But the question remains, why does the boss at Smith&Wollensky put the steak on the plate if the order is to go?

At the beginning of the film, when Andy first arrives at the Runway, we see the entire team panic when they realize that Miranda is about to arrive. Nigel tells everyone to get ready and questions who Andy is, before loudly asking if anyone had eaten one. onion bagel🇧🇷 In an earlier scene, we see Andy grab a bagel on his way to his interview.

But it turns out that the ring-shaped bread is actually integral🇧🇷 A mere detail, which perhaps went unnoticed by many viewers, or even by the directors, no?! Not to mention that after she gets her bagel, it appears and disappears several times while she’s on her way to the office.

In one scene, we see Emilly Blunt and Gisele Bündchen managing to pull a door, despite the label saying “push”. But they’re not the only ones doing it in the movie. Could these doors be the ones that work both ways? So why write “push”?

Not as an active character in the film, but in a picture. There is a scene where we see a photograph of a younger Andy with his parents. Anne Hathaway is portrayed as the younger version of herself, while David Marshall Grant, who plays the character’s father in the film, is also portrayed. Interestingly, instead of hiring an actress to pose as her mother, who appears alongside the two characters is Anne Hathaway’s biological mother.

When Andy first meets Christian at the party, his hair changes throughout the scene. First one side is in front of her ear, then it appears folded behind her, and finally it is in front again.

Towards the end of the film, when Andy quits working for Miranda, we see the editor-in-chief calling her former employee one last time. This happens during Paris Fashion Week.
Usually, this fashion industry event takes place around September or October. However, when Miranda calls Andy, the date on the phone says December 3rd.

In the film’s final scenes, Emily tells Andy’s replacement “that it will be difficult to measure up” to her former co-worker. At that moment, we noticed that the printer is not in the same place as before. The question remains: did Andy’s successor move the printer or was it a continuationist’s mistake?
