Someone tweeted and cast me as the character. I retweeted it back and was like, ‘Absolutely yes please’ and ‘#AhsokaLives’. And apparently that got the attention of someone who works with Star Wars.”

3. Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool

Ryan Reynolds went through a string of missteps as a hero before he did well as Deadpool. First he was Green Lantern, then Wade Wilson in X-Men, until he became Marvel’s anti-hero. On Twitter, the actor thanked his fans for requests constants: “Pretty consistently from 2013 to 2015, Deadpool would explode on Twitter with fans wanting me to play him. It was weird because I agreed with them, but the studio didn’t see it. Ultimately, the fans won out and the rest is glorious history. I am eternally grateful.”

4. John Krasinski as Reed Richards

Mister Fantastic, from the Fantastic Four, has already passed through the hand of some actors like Ioan Gruffudd and Miles Teller. However, none was more requested by the public than John Krasinski, known for his performance in the British version of The Office. Sam Raimi, director of the film, stated that the casting of the actor was because of the fans, because of the frequency he was searched on the internet and the number of articles that cast him as the hero: “The fans dreamed of who Reed would be. Perfect Richards”.

5. Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke

6. Jessica Chanstain as Beverly

It: A Thing was a film divided into two parts with the right to a time jump, that is, in addition to bringing together a good cast, it was still necessary for the participants of the sequel to be similar to the team of the first film. Therefore, fans of the horror production did not take long to ask Jessica Chastain to bring Beverly to life, a role previously played by Sophia Lillis. The buzz was so much with the requests, that Jessica herself admitted wanting to play the role, as she is a huge fan of Stephen King.

7. Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange

It’s hard to imagine other actors playing Doctor Strange in theaters. But Marvel initially wanted Joaquin Phoenix to take on the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme.
