There are about 500,000 islands in the world, but few of them are inhabited. In some (the smaller ones), it would only fit a little house, or two coconut trees and a hammock, which would be enough for a person to set up their camp, escape the big city and dive deeply into the tranquility of silence.
Many of these oases of tranquility are open to tourists. Although some are considered private, it is always possible to talk to the owner to reach an agreement, evaluate the possibility of visitation and, thus, set up a small excursion.
Check out some examples of small and wonderful islands and imagine how delightful it would be to spend a few days in the peace of your isolation.
