He says: “I walked up to him, held out my hand and said ‘Hi, my name is Henry, I’m thinking of becoming an actor, any tips? How it is?’ and he said ‘well you know the pay is great but sometimes they don’t treat you so well’”.

Well, the boy left a good impression on Russell Crowe, who days later sent a package to the boarding school. The box contained some gifts and a picture of him in Gladiator, with the words: “Dear Henry, A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”.

Then, 12 years later, they “bumped into each other” in preparation for a new film and Russell asked him, “Do I know you?” Henry asked if he remembered the boy who met him that day, the star replied that he did and repeated the words he said.
