Holly Mckee published this photo on your Twitter. She found the illusion in a section of children’s clothing. You might think it’s the result of some Instagram filter, but it’s not like that. In fact, she took the photo in grayscale outfits. To prove that the image was not edited, Holly posted a video on YouTube.

The video above shows an ad about a missing cat. It seems that he follows the movement of the head of whoever reads the ad. The illusion happens because the paper was pasted on an uneven surface and the perspective depends on the viewing angle.

It looks like the helicopter in the video takes off without turning the blades. In fact, it is more of an illusion, which, in this case, happens because of the stroboscopic effect. The fact is that we have the feeling that the helicopter is levitating because the speed of rotation of the propellers coincides with the speed at which the camera is registering the frames.

A Reddit portal user posted the photo above and asked netizens to guess the color of the dresser. And people started to debate: for some users the dresser looks pink and white; others turn blue and white (can you guess?). Actually, the color of the drawers is blue and gray, but it might look like it’s white and pink because of the reddish light in the room.

But people weren’t appreciating the beauty of Hailey Baldwin, Kendal and Kylie Jenner. What caught the eye was Kendal’s missing left leg. The followers counted the legs and built vectors to find the solution until they finally understood that the missing leg was under Kendal’s dress.

Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano published the photo on his Twitter and said it was the record of dunes seen from Space. But netizens were confused because it looks like they are depressions, not dunes. One of the followers managed to solve the problem by inverting the image.

According to Parmitano, the dunes are like the paintings of the Dutch graphic artist Maurits Escher: they repeat the same design, messing with our brain.
