Dog sledding and freezing temperatures are certainly not all that can be said about Alaska. Life here is a true adventure and it seems that animals reign everywhere. Whether it’s a mosquito the size of a cat or a moose sleeping on the sidewalk.
We, from awesome.club, we took a virtual trip to this frozen land and were blown away.
“This moose is eating the top of the tree outside our second floor bedroom window.”
“That year, four feet of snow fell in Anchorage”
“It’s very cold outside, −30°C. In the first photo, it’s the tea I bought in the morning. In the second, it’s my colleague talking to the chef”
“With −30°C, I walked normally on the street, but with −50°C, my eyelashes would start to stick together from so much frost and anything made of metal would burn my hands from the cold”
Just a warning sign about mosquitoes
“Every year, in Anchorage (the city where I live), the most famous dog sled race begins, which is called Iditarod”
“People from different countries walk a 1,510 km path from Anchorage to Nome, crossing the icy tundra. In 2020, the prize for first place was $500,000, but most of the time people don’t compete for money, they compete to challenge themselves.”
Here, animals enjoy all of humanity’s advances. For example, a local moose relaxing on the heated sidewalk
