The saga Harry Potter managed to conquer a legion of fans all over the world, but no matter how hard make-up artists, costume designers, videographers and special effects specialists worked to create a perfect franchise, in almost every movie about the brave little wizard it is possible to find several continuity errors .
We, from awesome.club, we are unconditional fans of this franchise that marked a generation. However, when reviewing the films, we found some continuity errors in scenes that could cause JK Rowling to twitch. Check out!
1. Initially, Harry appears to be wearing the shirt over both shoulders in this scene. But in the next frame, she mystically appears to be slung over one shoulder.
2. A piece of wood is screwed into the mailbox opening one way, but in the next scene it shifts position and has a crack.
3. When Hagrid takes the envelope out of his pocket, it is crumpled, but once the letter is delivered into the hands of a goblin, it is in mint condition.
4. When Harry enters the Wand Shop for the first time, his scar disappears for a few seconds.
5. Ron’s hairstyle constantly changes while he is with Harry in the compartment of the Hogwarts Express
6. In the scene where Harry is sent to Gryffindor and goes to join the House table, he sits next to Ron, but when the angle changes, he is next to Hermione
7. During the scene where the kids learn to fly on broomsticks, Hermione’s hair mysteriously loses its frizz.
8. Lifelines can be seen in almost every Quidditch game scene
9. You can see lines holding the floating magic candles
10. Professor Quirrell’s hair can be seen in scenes at the beginning of the film, although viewers know this character was supposed to be bald.
11. In the first film of the saga, the characters wore glasses with normal lenses, in the second film, the frames of the actors were without lenses to avoid creating reflections
12. In the famous scene where Harry crashes into a wall when trying to board the Hogwarts, you can see that Hedwig the owl is not real
13. When the Whomping Willow attacks the heroes, it leaves a dent in the roof of the car, but in the next cutscene the dent disappears
14. During the duel in class between Harry and Draco Malfoy, a camera operator accidentally appears on the scene.
15. The print on Dudley Dursley’s shorts, as well as the tone of his T-shirt, change drastically when the boy encounters the Dementors in the underpass.
16. When Harry is sleeping and having a terrible nightmare, he is wearing a T-shirt with a normal collar, but when the wizard wakes up, he is wearing a completely different T-shirt — with an open collar.
17. In the scene where Dolores Umbridge interrogates Harry, there is initially no spoon on the saucer, but after a second, a teaspoon magically appears on top of it.
18. Comparing Lily Potter’s death scenes: in the first movie she is wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, but in the last one, her outfit is completely different
