5 sympathies to start 2018 well!

Whatever your belief, there is always a spell to give strength to that special New Year wish of yours: attract love, luck, money, peace…

Of course, many of our achievements depend only on us. However, how about writing down some sympathies to do on New Year’s Eve and start the New Year off on the right foot?

1. Coarse salt to protect

It is used to bring protection and recharge our energies, so it has everything to do with this time of year. For the turn of December 31, put two handfuls of thick salt in a glass of water. Beside it, light a blue candle on a saucer – be careful not to get hurt! When the candle has finished burning, take a shower and pour the water from the glass over your body, from the neck down.

2. Pomegranate, symbol of fertility and prosperity

The fruit always appears in Christmas and New Year’s dinners. Because it has a large amount of seeds, tradition associates the fruit with abundance, fertility and prosperity. So, if these are your wishes for 2018, do the following spell on New Year’s Eve: cut the fruit in half and choose, according to your intuition, three seeds. At midnight, you must put them in your mouth, but without swallowing. Done that, dry them and keep them wrapped in a white paper throughout the year. Take the pomegranate seeds with you in your purse, bag, car or wherever you prefer. The important thing is that they are always with you. That is, no leaving them at home!

3. Arruda to ward off evil

Since ancient times, rue has been used for medicinal purposes and in preparations that aim to protect against the evil eye and negative vibrations. For this charm, pick up a small rue branch from your foot and keep it in your wallet or purse, if you always use the same one, on the last day of the year. When it dries up, throw it into a flower garden. Repeat the spell throughout the year, if you wish, for luck and prosperity.

4. Champagne to move forward

On the night of December 31st, it is normal to toast with a drink, which symbolizes good times, positive wishes and happiness. To leave behind everything bad that happened in 2017 and attract only good things in 2018, bet on this spell. When filling your glass on New Year’s Eve, toast with your family or friends and, before taking the first sip, think about everything you want to leave behind. So, take the first sip of the drink backwards, over your head, and drink only the second sip, mentalizing your deepest desires for the days to come. If you can do this as soon as midnight strikes, even better!

5. Pepper against envy

It is used against envy and the evil eye, in addition to appearing a lot in sympathies to attract love. Bet on a tradition that combines all these effects: fill a small clay pot with rock salt and bury six peppers. Next to the pot, light a purple candle. Mentalize what you want to achieve and, in the end, blow out the candle, put what’s left of it inside that same pot and keep it in a place in your house – that little corner that you know no one will touch. Leave it there throughout the year and, whenever you find it, remember the requests you mentalized when making sympathy.
